This is one of my favorite tricks to teach. It usually only takes a couple sessions (this is Alice’s second session), and it’s a fun way to work on:
✅ targeting
✅ a retrieve (pick up and move an object from point A to B)
✅ different markers (yes and search)
✅ shifting placement of reinforcement
Sure it falls under “stupid pet trick” but it’s still got a lot of lessons to learn for a puppy, and it’s a good way for me to stay sharp and also learn how my puppy likes to learn 🦄 💜 🤓
